We are an Australian grains commodity manager, and we work with our grower customers to develop grain marketing and risk management solutions that maximise returns and minimise risk.
Headquartered in Melbourne, we maintain regional and Joint Venture offices in Ballarat in Victoria, on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, Wagga Wagga in NSW and Subiaco in Western Australia . SQP Pty Ltd - an established grain marketing Joint Venture operating throughout Victoria . Emerald has partnered with the Southern Quality Produce (SQP) Cooperative to develop a dynamic grain marketing company servicing both domestic and export markets for malt and feed barley, wheat, canola and oats. SQP Pty Ltd offer their grower customers the full range of pools, fixed price contracts and structured risk management products. EP Grain Pty Ltd - a South Australian Joint Venture in partnership with SA grower based unlisted public company FREE Eyre Ltd, that services very specific needs of Eyre Peninsula farmers. The Eyre Peninsula is an export focused grain production region and EP Grain offers the full range of grain marketing solutions for wheat, barley and canola farmers. Southern Ag Grain - a southern NSW Joint Venture based in Wagga Wagga with local grower group Southern Agventure. The Joint Venture offers the full range of grain marekting solutions for wheat, barley and canola, focusing on the understanding and delivering on the needs of southern NSW farmers.
WAFarmers Federation – a wheat pool marketing alliance servicing WAFarmer members. This exciting partnership brings together the marketing and risk management skills of Emerald with the very real desire of Western Australian farmers to work together for superior wheat marketing outcomes. Ravensdown United Farmers - a long standing distribution alliance with the 3,500 member strong Western Australian cooperative (formally United Farmers Cooperative Company Ltd). Ravensdown United Farmers are now a part of the Ravensdown Fertilizer Cooperative of New Zealand. Ravensdown United Farmers distribute Emerald’s products to Western Australian growers.

We hold an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL 285776), are members of Grain Trade Australia (GTA), formerly the National Agricultural Commodity Marketing Association (NACMA) and are represented on GTA's Corporate Governance Committee.
Emerald is an accredited wheat exporter by Wheat Exports Australia (WEA). To view the announcement of Emerald's accreditation click here. We also hold an ESCOSA bulk barley export license for the export of bulk barley from South Australia.
