What does Emerald do?
Emerald is a leading grains manager that helps farmers and agribusiness maximise returns and manage grain market risks.
We offer the full range of grain management alternatives, including grain marketing pools for wheat, barley, canola and sorghum, fixed price contracts, structured products and other innovative solutions. We hold an Australian Financial Services License (license number 285776) that enables us to offer you a range of grain based financial products and advice.
How do you fund your grain payments?
Emerald’s primary funding relationship is with the institutional division of the ANZ bank. Emerald maintains secondary credit lines with other institutions, principally National Australia Bank (NAB) and Westpac. All our transactional facilities are managed by Westpac. We understand that growers want to be paid on time, every time. At Emerald we believe paying growers, and indeed all suppliers, on time is essential and it is fundamentally important to us. We fund our activities through inventory finance, company equity and commercial finance with both domestic and international institutions.
Where do you operate?
Emerald operates nationally, servicing grain growers in all major grain producing states. We receive grain into over 700 grain receival points across Australia. Headquartered in Melbourne, we maintain regional and Joint Venture offices in Ballarat and Horsham in Victoria, South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, and Fremantle and Esperance in Western Australia. We are further represented regionally through in excess of 40 country located agency offices in Western Australia and NSW. For Emerald contact details click here.
