Emerald's EOP gives grain growers a powerful start to the 2010/11 season

Emerald has today announced the launch of its 2010/11 Early Order Premium (EOP) program, once again promising to deliver a clear head-start to their grower customers' grain marketing program for the year ahead.
Emerald's Managing Director Mick Cattanach said on the back of competitive estimated returns for the 2009/10 season, the 2010/11 EOP, like last year, would be tailored to Emerald's grower customers' needs, offering a premium on pool returns as well as taking into account production risks.

Emerald pools close after a year of positive outcomes for growers

Emerald announced the closure of its 2009/2010 wheat, barley and canola pools as at close of business Friday 29 January 2010.
Despite Emerald's estimate of a smaller national wheat crop of just under 21 mmt, the company has again experienced strong volume growth of about 50 per cent, reflecting continued positive outcomes for its grower customers, and acceptance and support of the company's commitment to innovation, such as the release of the unique 'NewGen' Canola contracts.

Additional Harvest Advance top-up payment

Emerald today announced an additional top-up payment for its Harvest Advance product for its 2008/09 wheat and barley pools with wheat paying an average of $34 per metric tonne (mt).
Emerald’s Managing Director, Mick Cattanach, said that the top-up payment is an unscheduled boost just in time for harvest.

Emerald Group Australia (Emerald) today announced its final Early Order Premium +PLUS (EOP) offer for its 2009/10 wheat, barley and canola pools as conditions throughout most of the country improved.
October’s EOP offer will close on Friday 16 October.

Emerald Group Australia (Emerald) today maintained a healthy September premium for growers through the Early Order Premium +PLUS (EOP) program despite continued weakening global markets.
Generally good growing conditions, both within Australian and globally, over the last month have confirmed large supplies for this year. Combined with concerns about global demand, this has resulted in reductions in the estimated pool returns (EPR) across Emerald’s 2009/10 wheat and barley pools.

Emerald Group Australia (Emerald) today announced unchanged estimated pool returns (EPRs) for its wheat and canola pools while, barley EPRs have been reduced. Emerald’s reaccreditation for wheat exports will also allow sales to continue with confidence at a time when supply is expected to tighten.

Emerald retains wheat export license

Emerald is pleased to announce its reaccreditation by the Wheat Export Authority (WEA) as a bulk wheat exporter for three years, through until 2012.

Emerald Group Australia (Emerald) today announced strong July premiums for growers through the Early Order Premium +PLUS (EOP) program across all 2009/10 pools.
The strength of the July EOP delivers notable value for growers as crop conditions start to look positive across the country. Recent rains in WA have been very positive for the coming season and Emerald has held its EOP unchanged for July to allow growers who may not have had the confidence in the season during June, to now commit. The guaranteed minimum price (GMP), a feature of the program from March through to June is not available for July.
